Known local nature artist, former Martin County High School art teacher and author Pamela Hoke has partnered with TCWC to help raise funds to complete the new wildlife hospital and community nature center.  Pam strives to raise awareness that by increasing our bond with nature, we become more creative, more intelligent and more peaceful with ourselves and others.  She models this by joining TCWC at local events and demonstrating how her bond with the wildlife enhances her confidence and ability to paint live. Tim Brown, with some of the birds of prey, will be joining Hoke during an upcoming Plein Aire Day hosted by the Arts Council of Martin County on March 13th. Hoke will share her nature bonding and wildlife art process with local high school students as the guest painting teacher. Hoke will also be joining TCWC at upcoming ArtsFest, March 23rd and 24th, painting wildlife live. Hoke’s TCWC wildlife portrait series of originals and prints will be available for purchase at upcoming ArtsFest, and are currently available at her online store.  Proceeds of these deeply connected portraits are split to help both TCWC’s mission to re-open their center and Hoke’s art growth and degree pursuit with upcoming book based on her personal journey and nature therapy research, “Natural Self Discovery.”
